Rande - couple of items:

1. I'll be happy to vote. Although I have only been here since April or so, have loved the many accurate predictions, etc here. As far as your best call - sheesh thats hard to say. All I can say is that in general - you have this uncanny ability to predict the market turns

2. As far as best TA, since I have been here I have been most impressed with Mark Konrad and his TA work. Its always a pleasure to read his posts. I don't want to slight Kevin either. This thread has a wealth of great posters.

3. On the old music subject - I am sure you have seen this news by now:

news.cnet.com

as well as the reaction of many folks before this was announced:

news.cnet.com

No need to rehash the issues, etc here - again only time will tell - but I for one am glad to see that Napster at least gets its day in court instead of being shut down prematurely due to the decision of one judge, who from all I have read came across as pretty biased and out of touch going in. Shoot, the more engrossed I have become reading the various opinions, articles, etc on the issue, the more I feel the recording industry is cutting there own throats here - basically alienating their main target market. I don't know, maybe this is bringing out the rebel in me, but the more I read, the more and more I support the ability of folks to share music thru this new medium, just as they have done thru the years via other means.

Again, I appreciate your perspective on the issue, and have enjoyed discussing it with you. It'll be fun just watching this whole thing play out (shoot - I was shocked when I read today's local newspaper - and the front page featured a story on Napster - including a sidebar on a detailed guide of how it works, where to download, etc. This whole suit is creating more free PR, and driving more users to Napster than anything they could have done. Shoot, if the RIAA doesn't ultimately prevail, well they will have themselves partially to thank for Napsters popularity). pretty amazing stuff . . .

have a good weekend

Mav (feeling a bit like a rebel tonight - lol)

Votes are in...you're the profit!

Market really looking sick...

Trying to stay patient...sure is tough

Will be playing some pennies to pass the time...a few that look interesting to me at the moment are JVWB, WAVO, CLST and WEL

JVWB, WAVO and CLST medium to long term holds (a couple months<g>)

WEL is more of a swing based on the resumption of trading, and prospect of financing...no real resistance till around 1 1/8...

Also accumulating BAMM at this level...insiders are buying

Thanks RANDE!... I will likely be watching others more, at least til the end of the year.... I'll be focusing on position trades mostly, so I don't have to watch so diligently.( given that I'm not 100% available like I used to be.... All in all, I am having fun in Detroit!
