Good luck. Intel's PE is way out of line with its growth rate. Either there is going to be a day of reckoning or this puppy is due
for a long bout of stagnation.

A long period of stagnation could still result in a profit
for Albert. If Intel goes nowhere for 2 years and then is only slightly up in the period leading to his options expiration the long 130 call could be in the money while the short 160 call expires worthless.

I have done a couple of spreads on AMD Jan 01 options myself. Well not really spreads I didn't short the higher priced calls when I bought the 85 and the 90 call. I sold calls that I all ready owned.

Looking at the bid/ask from friday a spread of short AMD Jan '03 120 calls and long 70 calls could be a good investment. The debit would be less then 12 and I think it is very likely that the maximum profit of 50 would be reached. I don't have the $1200 right now and by the time I do I think this deal will no longer be avaiable.

I am not planning to hold it :-)) I was just counting on post-split rise and probably would be out soon. Goon thing about spreads is that the risk is fairly small and if it mispriced then the potential reward is relatively good (up ~20% so far)
