Andre, if one of your leaders steps over a cliff, go for it! As I recall, lemmings have no special legal status.
Most people will be just as glad to presume that you died in the fall to Earth and then move on with their lives.

Socrates said (to paraphrase) "if it is good for now it must be good for all time". If stealing a few copyrighted works is acceptable, should Congress shut down the Patent & Copyright Laws for all time? Is this in the best interest of all mankind?

Anyone with a sense for right or and wrong should know that these arguments are obvious and anyone who uses Napster or its cousins (for any purpose other than to replace copies of music where the royalties were rightly paid and later the materia was subsequently lost) .... is a thief.

IMHO,

Craig

Andre - Your points are well taken. I "oversimplified" the matter.

I have nothing against MP3 -- but I do hope it's popularity will somehow benefit the artists. I'm not concerned about the "middlemen". We know they've been skimming off the cream for years. I just want the songwriters, musicians, etc. to get fair treatment.
