(I suspect it, but I certainly don't know it)" I can't divulge my source but I will say that I've known it since last September '99 and this was anticipated when the original design was made....So believe me, Athlon has some reserve left in the tank....but probably not enough to catch Willy on the same process (according to Scumbria)... If Mustang can somehow match or come close to Willy in clockspeed this puts Intel in a bit of a precarious position with Coppermine...since I doubt Intel wants to clock Coppermine anywhere Willy because clock for clock on current benchmarks, Coppermine may just give Willy a run for its money?
