Common sense tells me that this cannot be true for the retail investors. This would imply that there are as many dollars to chase the market as there were last March. I am pretty well convinced that somebody lost money in the time period of April 1 to May 30th and I am equally convinced that all of the people that lost money didn't make all of it back. What are these people using as a base to margin from? Not to mention that this week probably wiped out a few margin dollars. Something doesn't smell right.
