Hi, folks...potpourri... 1. 'bland:' like your link...thx for bringing here. 2. 'bowled:' well, so far I can't get past my skepticism as to why 'real market-makers' are spending time on message boards. And, like you, things are 'hectic' to say the least ... trying to figure out what to do with investments. But I'll read it as much as I can ... I don't know how interested I am, frankly, in what market makers -- even real ones -- would have to say. Don't know if and/or how such knowledge would directly benefit my effectiveness at managing my portfolios. (in other words, don't know if it's worth the time). 3. 'Volt:' so far on the "clown-free" board, my arrival has been met with <lol> lukewarm, at best, responses. Seem to be, well, bears. One implied that maybe they're always into puts. The 'head dude' Lucretius told me unequivocably to sell everything I own and buy CDs, although I think I detected a bit of sarcasm <g>. I noticed this morning that someone there linked to your post yesterday regarding RMBS. I'll go over there and ask the dude if he/she plans on shorting it ... if I can get in. I have the thing bookmarked and seems I can't get in, but maybe it's a technical thing ... was able to see it, anyway, going thru SI via the coffee shop menu route. 4. elpolvo/Clappy -- such nice quotes. Roosevelt's is my all-time fave ... like the Mark Twain, too ... wow, he could sure get to the point. As could the real Voltaire ... have you guys seen any of Voltaire's quotes?
