I know NY state took 4 years to get approval. They still have 13 other states to go. To get Genuity back w/i 2 years is a very aggressive plan for Verizon. Per FCC deal, they have 5 years. For now, this company is trading with fully dilutated outstanding shares of over 900M shares and Class A shareholders only own 20% of Genuity. If Verizon can't get FCC approval w/i 5 years then Class A shareholders will own 80% of company. With fiber-optic sector is heating up, I don't doubt Verizon will want it back ASAP. Genuity owns 17K miles of fiber-optic lines and still expanding which is very good growth for company and investors alike. Check the fundamentals on its competitors and I like buying GENU at low $8's level: Williams Communications (WCG) Exodus Communications(EXDS) Global Crossing (GBLX) Level 3 (LVLT)
