my guess is there were many bears in the area and the aggression may have been a by product of the heavily concerntration of bears in each others territory.>>

I don't know what is going on this year but there have been quite a few attacks and killings in North America. Too bad for the bears 'cause they always get the short end of the stick when it is all said and done.

Just like stock market bears. -g-
