It may come as a surprise to a lot of people, or it may just be what Allan Greenspan calls "irrational exuberance" on my part, however I just feel Coms has something in the mill that may materialize in the near future....just a gut feeling on my part. Most on the thread seen to value Palm significantly higher than Coms (which less palm some now consider a garbage stock. I, however have the opposite opinion, partly based on the logic that you never give up anything until it's of no further use to you. Time will tell, however should this scenario materialize in the near future......you heard it here first!!

"COMS is still worth $7/share cash, $13/share book, $23/share with sales thrown at around 1x, IMO."

Heh, David you just answered part of my question. I think I should pick up some coms to start on monday and accumulate as they call it.

Hi! It's Sunday morning and I took a look at the CBOE options for COMS. It seems that the new options based on the new COMS (sans PALM) are not established yet. I am thinking of buying calls and selling puts (to finance them). Anybody have any comments on this strategy for playing the perceived almost guaranteed upside potential ( according to a number of posters)of this stock? Seriously, I do believe that COMS is a viable company with a great franchise (name) and solid technology, products, R&D and great people (EB not included in this comment). They are not going to disappear. Nor are they going to trade at a significant discount to the market (sales per share) for very long.
BTW long COMS for several years.
