Richard,

I suggest you retract your libelous accusations immediately.

Hitachi has announced that they are spinning off their DRAM business, and the same article which "speculated" that Mitsubishi was settling with Rambus, also "speculated" that Mitsubishi was exiting the DRAM business.

Two quotes from the article you posted:

Mitsubishi May Follow Oki Into Rambus Fold

Semico, however, believes Fujitsu and Mitsubishi may withdraw from the PC DRAM market.

Are you intelligent enough to understand that both of these remarks are speculative, and that I did not make up either one? Are you intelligent enough to understand that your speculations about Mitsubishi are no more valid, and no more lies, than mine are?

You have gone way over the line, and I expect an immediate retraction. I doubt that you are up to it however.

Dick,

Chronology:

I wrote:
"Why would a company who is not planning on selling DRAM sign a licensing agreement with Rambus?"

"I haven't heard any specific remarks from Mr. Mitsubishi, but keep your ears open."

You wrote:
"But yet you said they were going out of the DRAM business. More deliberate lies. More FUD. Very pathetic!"

Dick, where did I say that Mitsubishi was going out of the DRAM business? I was commenting on a possibility speculated on by the article you posted.

If you are not intelligent enough to follow the discussion, I suggest that you don't get involved. Stop libeling me immediately, Dick.
