Paulie, you can guess that a Celeron 266 is faster and you'll be even more wrong. The scary thing is that a 1.4GHZ Pentium 4 may be slower than that Compaq.

Intel is going to be making .13 Coppermines next fall. Pentium 4 must really stink. Do you know why AMD won't be making K6s on its .13 process? Because they have a new design that's better than the old design.

First SUN manages to get its act together and cuts of Itanium with a faster USIII. Now Pentium 4 isn't good enough to displace the P3.
