Hi Gene,
Back to the short position stuff....Do you have up to date short position information on the stocks that you are making a market in? If so are you able to see at what prices the short positions were taken?

I am not talking of MM short positions necessarily.

All of my info on short positions is delayed by one month and I like to enter solid stocks (both fundamentally and technically) that have large short positions, as an MM, I would assume that would be important information for you as well.

Once the public has FULL KNOWLEDGE of MM short positions the conspiracy theorists and 'smoke and mirror' promoters will have nobody else to point the finger at except themselves and the possibility that these company's and their insiders are not such darlings after all (dare I use blasphemy!).

<snip>

On top of that I believe the OTC BB needs to incorporate the SEC order handling rules and once you have both of these in place I may start investing some good money into the OTC BB's myself (nah, probably not).

First of all. Thank you for your presence here at SI, it has brought back some good and positive to this crazy Universe. I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge. (First I will read some more, then, I will come with some questions of my own).

As for your statements above:

1. Even if the entire lot of facts were to be in front of the "investing" public, these facts need to be digested and processed, that is to say, the lot has to go through the mind (and interpretation), of each individual. While I am no scientist, I have a belief, mostly from empirical findings, that human nature has an imbedded code in the mind, instructing specifically that conspiracy, distrust, and delusion cloud clear thinking.

Hence the ability for good reasoning is limited to those who have: a). Studied a little on the relevant subject at hand, AND b). Honesty, (particularly with themselves).

The above two items preclude a good 60 to 70 % (that is a guesstimate), to perform a rather simple task, which is, to express this simple idea when investing/speculating in stocks:

Oh Sh*t! I made a mistake, I should get out NOW !! [and take the loss]

Instead, they will find an excuse, scapegoat, pretext, whateveryouwant, to blame it on something/somebody else.

Of course, (and in addition), you have the other code instructing the mind that friends in misery comfort each other. [making it ok to perpetuate their foolishness and extending their losses]. --And at this point openly fabricate amongst fellows-in-misery the Conspiracy Theory.

So in short, I doubt that even if all the facts were out in the open, the Black Helicopter Crew would disappear.

2. Regarding the SEC and bb stocks, it defies me the reason behind, (whatever it may be), that these fleas do not have the obligation to file on a quarterly basis to the SEC.

A case of fools [bureaucrats] licensing thieves [bb fleas] ?

I call this, DIT (Delusion Investment Theory).

Thanks for reading.
