Actually this was a bit of a dissappointment.
OTOH, AMD needed to qualify copper on .18u. They needed the practice. Intel probably won't.

You got that right !!!

AMD may be expecting the 1 Meg on die AthWiper will be required to keep up with Intel's Desktop CPUs.
