OT For a guy who remember very well the Oil Shock of 1973 and 1979, there is no marketing gimmick that can impress me.

Do you remember the White House with lights off? The Royal Family of Holland pedaling bikes? The world has been awash in oil ever since.
The oild shock was not about we running out of crude, it was in fact a tax levied over everybody who used oil derivative.

When this YK2 thing came I didn't buy it. I was in Brazil -not the most country used to preparedness- I celebrate my birthday 31.12.99. Next morning bought the newspaper in there was a day like any other.

By the way heard about pole melting, ozone hole and that sort of stuff? I also laugh about.
