Don, your comment "The spin off of SPINCO will permit them cross license with GSM IPR holders, without QCOM losing its ability to collect royalties." This is the party line, all of the security analysts are repeating the mantra. I've owned Q for 5 years and follow it closely. I have absolutely no idea why a Qualcomm customer or Qualcomm itself will be liberated to cross-license GSM IPR holders as a result of this Spinco action. Can you explain it to me?
As to WIND and Q, the possibilities of wireless access devices employing VxWorks and Q's HDR are legion. I would love to see these two companies working more closely together. Appreciate your response. Mike Doyle
