Good questions. :-)) "Anyone know the entomology of the word IGNORE?" Yes, wrong way ed. The one that runs to SI and crys when someone offends him or does not agree with him. You probably remember the kind from gradeschool. "Why do some people inform the offensive poster of their decision to ignore them? This strikes me as almost a good-bye kiss." LOL, well it is the childrens way of playing their games. Actually it is like getting a trophy when you make the "IGNORE" list on this thread. What a joke this whole thread really is. Monty

PMS Witch I have read with great interest your many posts on the Computer Learning thread for quite a period of time. Having said that,I feel compelled to state this.Why frame a post with a laundry list of questions that I believe you know the answers to and not just make a direct statement as to your true feelings on peoples use of the ignore feature? It is not my intention to offend you but I am a bit surprised that you would engage is this type subterfuge. Ed
