Estephen, Please read again my response to Bilow. I noted that the Hitachi agreement extended for the life of the contract (5 years, I believe) on Hitachi controllers. As for memory royalties after the NEC/Hitachi marriage, I thought the likelihood of reaching an accord with NEC was enhanced. Of course, we don't know the details of the Hitachi/Rambus agreement, and it is possible that Rambus already has a commitment regarding the latter. We'll have to wait for the story to play out.
