What I hear you and Michael keep saying is that Gore is more conservative than he seems. Can't you see that doesn't matter? Gore is trying to pull from the center as are the Bush people. It doesn't matter if Gore was soft on guns or abortion before, in fact it might even help him get votes - his center is more conservative not less. Conservatives are in a different boat. You need to go after moderates too, in fact that was Bush's whole pitch. If I were a spinmeister I'd take some of these swing groups like Hispanics that Bush was courting. Then I'd blast the ethnic media with Cheney's votes on apartheid, and other racial matters. As I say you can't even call it spin, its just the truth.
