Stcgg--
Just a thought here from a relative rookie investor that has lurked on this thread for some time, and appreciates the work that ALL of you share. Back to my point--if you cost average as a 25 to 30 year investor in the markets, would you not be better off than investing in cd's or money markets for that same amount of time?? Most people do not have the knowledge or time to babysit their investments on a day to day basis,(they have a life, unlike me!!!), and I truely believe that their investments over that 25 to 30 year time period, of monthly contributions, will not evaporate.I realize that this is an extremely long term view, but they are long term investors, and i don't believe they are dumb. Just a thought from a rookie. Once again thanks all, back to lurking.
