stockman, both deals are contingent on product success. neither deal is guaranteed to reach 45 million, even if the product does work and is deployed. also, both entities were allowed to participate in an equity participation program of some form. Again, I am not saying that this won't create a nice short term return, but without some major wins, there are far better investments out there. all imo. tp

Scott, I do agree on AVCI, and when was the last time Williams Commun. was wrong. They througherly investigate and evaluate who they use and go with. If they are not top notch Williams would not even blink. AVCI I have hopes for to as a longer term position. One thing that stands out in my mind is the large descrepency in mkt. cap that this huge sector engulfs. Truth of the matter is, CSCO cannot and will not be the only player with Terabit Routers, as we have seen with the rise and speculation of JNPR. Now ENE selects AVCI over JNPR and CSCO. Interesting...indeed. I think that as time and new produts develop, AVCi will get there peice of the pie. At this point I feel that it is a speculative bet that other Fund Mgrs will most likely also take in the monthes ahead, in my opinion.
