Does a large down day on the NASDAQ increase the chances of an up day to follow? No.

Since 1997, if we have have a down day of 2-4%, the chances that the next day will be up are about even.

Pertaining to the last week: Since 1997, if we have an up day followed by 3 down days the chances of the next day being up are about even. Applying this test from 1984 forward shows the chances to be less than even.

Fun with Excel and not very useful. --Allan
