(NYSE:CY - news) today introduced the industry's first 533MHz Direct RAMBUS(TM) Clock Generator (DRCG) specifically designed for use in high bandwidth applications such as in communications, graphics and consumer applications that require precise high speed clock generation. The 533MHz DRCG will be offered in two versions -- the W134-25 and W134-35. The two versions are pin-compatible with each other and support different frequency multiplier tables to give design engineers the flexibility to choose reference input frequencies. Complementing the Cypress W134M and W134S, the industry's first RAMBUS®-validated 400MHz DRCGs, the 533MHz DRCG was designed to focus on addressing cutting edge applications that require ultra-high-speed memory.
