After seeing EMC, SUNW, and ORCL crush their numbers it would be rather odd to see the "first horsemen" (in my book, at least;-) be out of line.

Also, regarding CSCO always hitting their numbers another aspect to consider is I would imagine that Cisco's salespeople have lots of stock options to vest. Thus, they will be more apt to "put deals in the drawer" to ensure a solid next quarter. And another aspect is that with many orders coming in via the web, Cisco probably has sophisticated software to help them predict forward revenues.

Dear Tony: You know, I was thinking the same thing, but you gotta admit CSCO nearly always just does that penny thing. So its possible they have kept the analysts thoroughly updated on the numbers thus the latest consensus takes all of that into account. JDN
