PSFT bought Vantive last year for the CRM product. This allowed them to sell CRM and e-business integrated products into their huge installed base of HR software clients. PSFT 8.0 is coming out in the next few months and will be fully internet based and integrated. Meanwhile, competitors such as SAP and BAAN look dead. MIKE

Apparently their new product line is generating a huge buzz. The new product needn't be a DI. A continuous innovation would be nice but part of psft's problem has been a lack of execution and even niche gorillas have to execute. At least some of their existing customers have revenue increasing potential for psft. Many are somewhat locked into the psft products so if they can offer improvements then these customers will remain loyal to psft. If they can start capturing some new customers their quarterly numbers should show improvement. JMHO. Tom
