I guess this explains your attitude:

Two boys are playing football in Golden Gate Park when one is attacked by a Rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy rips off a board of the nearby fence, wedges it down the dog's collar and twists, breaking the dog's neck. A reporter who is strolling by sees the incident, and rushes over to interview the boy.

"Forty Niners' fan saves friend from vicious animal", he starts writing in his notebook.

"But I'm not a Niners fan," the boy replies.

"Oakland Raiders' fan rescues friend from horrific attack," the reporter starts again. "I'm not a Raiders fan either," the boy says. "Then what are you?" the reporter says.

"I'm a Cowboys fan!!!"

The reporter starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes,
"Redneck bastard kills family pet."

Me, a moral purist? Hardly. I could care less what my electrician, plumber, lawyer, MD, etc. are doing in their private lives. You Clinton apologists have been throwing out that dubious analogy for 5 years now. My electrician, plumber, lawyer, MD, etc. don't run the country. They aren't national role models for the children of this country. They don't have any power to set policies and make decisions that take away my freedoms or control my life. If you haven't figured out the difference between these people and the president of the United States, you're in sad shape. But then, what else can Clinton supporters say when there is no substantive defense for immoral, unethical corruption?

If you don't believe the President of the United States should be held to higher standards than the average citizen, then your aspirations and expectations of our leaders, especially the President, are extremely low. I can assure you, with that attitude, the politicians you vote for will continue to live down to your expectations.
