Some famous internet funds (eg Ryan Jacob's fund) are down about 48% YTD. Ouch!

Ryan Jacob's was applauded for his great performance just last year correct?

Olu, I got in on the Nuance IPO, but as I posted here not long ago I sold 1/2 at around 105.:-(
I'm in on this one...comes out tomorrow...I think it will be hot...time will tell.

Boston-based SpeechWorks (SPWX: news, msgs) is eyeing about $71 million in proceeds by selling 4.8 million shares at $13 to $15 each with lead underwriter Chase H&Q.

The company sells software and services for companies and communications carriers to offer automated, speech-activated services over any telephone.

Nichols said the company is tapping into the fervor surrounding wireless applications.

"Rather than fumbling with a dial pad, a caller can speak into the phone to retrieve data such as stock quotes, or weather reports," he said.

Competitors such as Nuance Communications (NUAN: news, msgs) have seen big gains in their stock prices.

Serves them right. I hope they lose the other 52%, along with their moronic "investors".

I'm glad to see it got a little worse today. Hopefully more to come. The idiot funds probably lost another 10% this week. Not much to go til zero. But I still prefer that you win our little bet.
