Well I know that almost every heavy manufacturer I have ever worked with has tried their darndest to wring out excessive logistics costs, with all these funky approaches that the internet finally enables. We can create b2b transactions with remote factories and create sort of "virtual warehouses" with every supplier on our chain, thats pretty powerful and its going to save a lot of money and headaches. The only unknown is which companies will benefit.
