ERP note: JDEC is back!

JD Edwards preannounced an upside surprise of .00-.02 earnings instead of a loss. This is very relevant to GGers b/c one of the best non-G plays @ Moore is healthy software chimps expanding their market. JD Edwards' strategy of repudiating the NIH-syndrome of SAP, Oracle et al and partnering with top shelf names like Ariba and Siebel to fill product offering is a winner and will continue to set JDEC apart. Long & strong JDEC @ 12, this chimp is no chump!

EDIT: Another comment re JDEC vs. PSFT: JDEC has an "open" user conference (recently completed in Denver in fact) and an independent, highly active separate Quest User Group for JDE products that just launched glossy, high-quality "Q&A" independent JDE magazine. Contrast that with closed PSFT conference...'members only'-you need a member login on their website just to get info! Others like Symix that can't afford to have such a brick wall around it falls into same category. This speaks volumes to me...JMO.
