Julie, no problem. Actually, from all my research, ONCE you get on DSL and operate cleanly for 3 weeks or so, then it is typically very troublefree - and sounds like it would be much more reliable than what you are dealing with now.

the main issues lie within the initial install, and the initial shake-out period after you're live. Thats why I wouldn't cancel alternative methods until you're operating fine on DSL for roughly a month

I'll keep you posted - as I have my fingers crossed that I will be installed tomorrow - but too many disapointments over the last 8 months to count on it
