Any ideas on when the flushing sound will stop in regards to Aware's stock price? This is a little disheartening. I felt like we would have a small pull back after earnings, but this seems very extreme. The market is up today and Aware is not participating. I hope Peace's wave theory proves to be accurate. Lets hope 38 is as low as she goes and does a nice steady rise. Analog's earnings could be the turn around information we need. Maybe we will get some more confirmation on chip sales.

I appreciate all the recent dialogue. It is nice to stay busy reading facts and hearing everyone's opinions on relevant matters. Keep up the good work.

Thanks,

Perry P.

An ADSL clip....

From ECI's earnings release: ``Our Broadband Access business continues to gain momentum with ADSL sales up 80% sequentially and we made good progress in the integration of WavePacer into the ADSL division. During the quarter, we announced receipt of a $165 million order for Innowave from GVT, an emerging service provider in Brazil. The contract is expected to reach $215 million. We also announced the acquisition of Winnet, a US LMDS company, which positions Innowave to offer a full range of fixed access wireless local loop solutions. biz.yahoo.com

The following is from an August 4th SEC filing by Efficient Networks.

We obtain certain parts, components and equipment used in our products from
sole sources of supply. For example, we obtain certain semiconductor chipsets
from Alcatel Microelectronics, Motorola, Inc., Analog Devices, Inc., Texas
Instruments Incorporated, and Conexant Systems, Inc. We also rely on Texas
Instruments Incorporated, Samsung Semiconductor Inc., and VLSI Technology, Inc.
to manufacture our application specific integrated circuits.

Although we have agreements with many of these component providers, these
agreements do not require the vendors to meet our supply demands. In recent
periods we have experienced difficulties in obtaining adequate supplies of
certain components, particularly chipsets from Alcatel and Motorola.
In
addition, certain standard components, such as flash memory, have been in short
supply and, as a result, have been more expensive than anticipated.

Maybe ADI will fill more of their orders...what do you think?
