semicon, Apparently Intel informed Tom that he needs a microcode update. This would be indicative of a bug which has only recently been discovered. Instead of rushing to beat AMD, Intel should wait until they have production quantities of production quality parts to make announcements. Remember the story of the little boy who cried wolf? Intel is losing their credibility from too many rushed, low quality product introductions. I suspect we will see the same thing with PIV. Scumbria
