Tejek,, Re..<<<<As he understands the situation, it is the added weight of the ocean waters caused by glacial melting that accounts for the lion's share of global warming's contribution to tectonic activity. <<<<< Ted, the melting of ice doesnt add any weight to the earth, but the water spreads out and compress more equally over the oceans. Now if you had a fat ladies day in SF, where the weight is centered in one spot, then you could have a serious problem. Harry
