Scumbria,

Central London will be underwater within 50 years, at current rise rates.

Considering the fact that Paris ceased to exist some time ago after it has been buried under a mountain of horse manure, Londoners are not doing badly. They have 50 years left.

By the way, it should not be a problem. All you need to do is to buy 1 share of Intel for each citizen of London. In 50 years, after it will consistently double every 1.5 to 2 years (as predicted by Frank Simons here), each share will be worth between $4 billion and $1.4 trillion, so they will all be able to move to the higher ground.

Joe

Scumbria,

Is that why you are going to the UK? To warn London?

Scumbria,

I was concerned that you did not respond to my smart*ss remark re London and the UK with one of your smart*ss responses. I hope you were not p*ssed. The intent was not to invalidate your trip to the UK.....except that I just couldn't resist connecting it to your remark re London being underwater. It was another one of those "the devil made me do it" things.

And I know that I will burn in h*ll because of them. ;~))
