The 401K money needs to be low risk. Since it gets end of day NAV I only like to commit it when the market is more certain. I will use the inverse head and shoulder NDX targets to help me time exits to long positions which I have more control over. I was hoping to catch a bouncy bounce to the upside on the 401K but it did not happen (yet?). The wedge on the SPX looks ominous. And, I have the same gut feeling in my stomach just prior to the august crash of 1998. The commercials continue to build net short positions and they have more money than me <ggg>. I'm running out of excuses so let me say this: I'll sleep better tonight.
