My local paper runs at least two "news" stories each day slanted against Bush. Yesterday they compared the candidate's assets as of the latest filings. Gore declared $500k-$1 million in Occidental petroleum, while Bush's only remaining oil stock was $12k of Cabot Oil in an IRA account. Guess which candidate had the headline of Big Oil? Cabot was prominently mentioned in the first paragraph even though Bush only had a tiny amount compared to his large net worth. Complete BS.
