I am puts on MRK,SGP,TXN,JDSU,EMC and cash. On premium on EMC at this point but am going to add. Looking for more rally to add RMBS. Leaving for vacation Sat. for Jackson Hole:) and hope that everything is far enough in the money that I can just set stops and leave with a clear mind.

I would think that another good day (pushing us past 3800) would make the recent dip to 3650 look more like a shake out than a harbinger of more weakness. Perhaps unlikely, but I'm not sure I'd be betting put and covered calls at this point. We could as easily go to 4300 as we could to 3500. Seems like a good time to sit tight and be in protective positions. But then, you're always had the big brass ones of the foursome.
