multi... It was our new poster Jill that went 100% in her IRA with Rambus and not me. But I do know the faint of heart part... in or out of an IRA!

Hi Multicollinearity; Congrats on your IRA play in RMBS!

For the future, here is a great book for mathematicians interested in the theory of trading:

The Mathematics of Money Management: Risk Analysis Techniques for Traders, Finance Editions Ser. Series #1935
Description: Until now, money management practices have been driven by a loose collection of highly subjective rules of thumb. By failing to accurately under The Mathematics of Money Management injects a new degree of precision into your trading strategies. Based on the rules of probability and modern portfolio theory, it shows you how to create and use these money management techniques in the futures, options, and stock markets. And you don't need to be a PhD to exploit these strategies.

This is a fairly practical book, as far as the usual mathematics text, but the theory is hardly a very esoteric one. Your having a good statistics background, it will be a rather light read, and I most heartedly recommend it.
