Multi, Don't you find it somewhat hypocritical of Tom leveling the accusation of resorting to "funky tricks?" What is that old saw about the pot calling the kettle....... I'm not following your point. Tom did some tricks to make an apples to apples comparison of PC133 vs. PC800. This is a far cry from Intel tweaking microcode to hide speedpaths in a "production" CPU. Tom's purpose was to expose the truth, and Intel's purpose appears to have been to cover it up. Scumbria
