Hi Zeev - not sure about the author [a columnist from Bloomberg doesn't help to figure out his credential :o).] That said, let's hope he has heard of nifty fifty. Incidentally, the nifty fifty of the 90s, like the KO and PG of the world all got shot to kingdom comes. So, even if he had not heard of the 70s nifty fifty, he would have known of the 90s nifty fifty! Or maybe this is the new spin, shall we call it "packet nifty fifty?" 8o)

For instance, while my chip and telecom holdings have recovered somewhat, my biotech holdings, CEGE, CHIR and MEDI were not included in the Naz rebound. Incidentally, the traditional drugs were not doing that well either. Back to the point though, it seems that the market is using a foil to deflat a given sector, like wireless, chip or biotech, at any given time. I mean, I can understand the food chain concept with NOK, but I cannot see LSI or CEPH has the power to get creamed and take the rest of the sector with it. So, maybe indeed there is a new phenomenon, i.e., when a chimpaneze gets the flu, the gorilla too gets quarantined. But enough rambling :)!

best, Bosco
