Gary, the overall revenue is still small and as I said ALA
pluged the hole, which is not strategic for them.
Do you think CSCO will get back money they paid?
As for ALA... they didn't even show up on the list as a competitor.
it is funny how CSCO PR works.
NT will hit 10 billion in optics this year.
Both ALA and LU 7 billion each.
CSCO..who knows 300, 400 millions. They are not even listed by research firm. Do they have entire end to end optical solution like Nortel or ALA - not at all.
But of course, when CSCO talks about competitors J.Chambers
is talking about NT or ALA, and that CSCO is one of "big three"
in optics (LOL)
