I know a real nice guy told us here that CuMine had toped out at 650MGz but is it possible that the Register might somehow be right this time? I mean that nice guy was always so accurate in all his predictions before that AMD was going to the moon any minute now....

Intel formally introduced its 1.13GHz Pentium III to its customers over the weekend but the chip is likely still to be in short supply, although the 1GHz Pentium III floodgates are shortly to open.
