LU has company specific problems. Corporate customers have slowed down purchases of their multimillion dollar voice switches from Lucent as they evaluate voice over IP options from companies like CSCO, SONS , LU. The margins of the new gear will be a lot less than what LU is used to in its voice switches. I don't think you can predicate a slowdown in the telecom sector based on LU. They also made a series of mistakes on Fiber optic equipment. Thanks Anindo
