Well Owl you are certainly entitled to your opinions.

No doubt Intel has made some errors in the last year with all these product transitions on going. It is even possible that Intel will goof up again. But what I hear the P4 is looking good at the OEMS and I suspect the P4 launch will not suffer the same problems as the 820 did last year.

It is interesting that AMD's new T-bird is outclassed by a 1.13 GHZ Pentium III. The P4 should widen the performance gap. AMD will be forced back into the value end of the market and denied access to the server and workstation markets.

As for RDRAM it includes in its design the necessary terminations for high speed bus operations. The bus is a complete design not just a double rate clocking scheme borrowed from RDRAM.
