Intel seems to be moving into the software business with their acquisition of long-time Wind customer Trillium Digital Systems (I was surprised that the price was only $300 million). See trillium.com for one example of the Wind/Trillium relationship.

Anyone think Wind could be a viable acquisition candidate for one of their customers currently in an acquisition mode such as intel, csco, lucent, nortel, etc?

Thanks Michael,

You cut and pasted the part of the article that I found to be the most intriguing.......on the surface it appears to be a possible plus for WIND.
