Comments When run at ultra-low resolutions, Quake3: Arena and MDK2 provide a good look at the raw speed of a system's CPU output since the video accelerator doesn't break a sweat. In both benchmarks the extra 130MHz that the 1.13GHz P3 brings to the table allows it to outperform AMD's Thunderbird 1GHz chip by a good margin. Slower CPUs like the first generation Athlon K7, and P3-600 are literally blown away by the P3-1.13GHz's firepower. Planet hardware, lot of tests lot of graphs, planethardware.com

Tom hates Intel - typical Loser Hates Winner Mentality (you AMDroids have this one down pat) - and he simply screwed up on purpose or he took this opportunity to "fake" a problem. Very simple. TOM FAILED - three other reviewers had ZERO problems. Your animosity and narrowminded anti-Intel bigotry smells. Paul
