Hello opal_,
Perhaps purists may characterize your question,
and my reply, as inappropriate for this thread (although the initial "thread post" indicates otherwise) ---
therefore I'll keep my reply short.

(1)For a list of Companies who are determined to be the the "Wireless Station companies" that you are interested in .. I'd go to ofdm-forum.com
Then click on "Members"

(1a) Cisco & Others have created a competing xOFDM Forum,
which you may also consider in your research.
Perhaps others may introduce you to that also.

(2) For a company which claims to be introducing a very comprehensive 4th Generation "Wireless Station Network".. I'd look at 4gnt.com

Best regards,
Mardy.

this could be part of T's long-vapored project "Angel" for fixed wireless -- basically several years of mumbo-jumbo, but look under project Angel -

OPa, it concerns FMC (another three letter acronym for your collection) Fixed-Mobile Convergence.

Wireless having a better price-performncae than the wired sort, voice will be moved to wireless. Unfortunately I can't recall when we discussed that here. But I will try to dig info for you since I also need to refressh my knowledge on that.
