"Most people here in Australia still get TV from a tower on the hill."

Mark- Thanks. This is the kind of info I'm looking for and suspect may be true for Asia too(ironically I did just read a single MSO in China has 70 million subs).

BUT why in the world does ADCT think there is going to be a market for a UHF digital transmitter here in the USA? Why waste time developing a product for a market that is almost non-exsistent?

Maybe I'm reading the PR wrong? Maybe it's a point-point system to upload digital content from a NAB member to the MSO headend? Or the DSB uplink location?....No. I read the PRs again. These transmitters appear to be geared towards a NAB affiliate to broadcast digital content to consumers. Maybe it has something to do with a compliance issue with the NAB and FCC. That's what I'm beginning to think. -MikeM(From Florida)
