Mark....GBLX from briefing.com 11:34 ET Global Crossing (GBLX) 25 5/8 +1 5/16 (5.4%): Goldman Sachs just said that there is not much risk to GBLX numbers tonight; thinks will beat numbers slightly.

Mark K.: Correction on AMKR. AMKR report after tomorrow's close; they already pre-announced that earnings would come in below analysts estimates. However, stock is down today on negative comments from SG Cowen, who feel that earnings miss will be wider than expected. I'm out, and will wait to see earnings report. If stock sells off Thursday AM, I am back in on weakness. SSB knows of earnings pre-announcement but STILL feel that it is restricted to this quarter ONLY; still maintain that Q3 will be strong and rated it as "Buy" (research report dated 7/29).
