Are you referring to Computerized Thermal Imaging, Inc.?
If so, why didn't you type it that way? No, instead
I noticed that you worded this question as generalizaton...
a good way to make sure you couldn't be sued for libel by
Computerized Thermal Imaging for posting false and
misleading statements about their company on this thread.

I have yet to see a report by the SEC, NASDAQ, FBI
or any other government agency, that has been written or
broadcast citing CTI for putting out a false press release.
I'll trust it to the above agencies to investigate ALL
parties and follow their reports on the facts...and pass
on trusting your insinuations.
