I was in Switzerland (Geneva, as I recall) about 20 years ago and saw a very nice pocket watch in a jeweler's window -- $45,000 +/-. I couldn't afford it then, and wouldn't buy it now (I wonder what today's price would be), but I could certainly "appreciate" it!

Lynn - long ago, my wife bought me a concord "delirium" - I don't know if you are familiar with it but it is 3mm thick, has no stem, just a thin band of slinky gold that tells time. Amazing bit of technology and has run perfectly for nearly 18 years.
